Diploma Aviation Medicine
The Diploma in Aviation Medicine consists of two parts and is a 2 day examination held at the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, 2 Lovibond Lane, Greenwich, London SE10 9LF. Candidates need to attend both days. Day 1 (Part 1 - Aviation Physiology and Psychology) is on Monday 18 March 2019. Day 2 (Part 2 - Clinical Aviation Medicine) is on Tuesday 19 March 2019. Each part has 3 papers.
The timings shown are indicative. Further details on timings will be provided in your confirmation letter which is sent, via email, about a month before the examination.
This is designed for medical practitioners who wish to practise aviation medicine. It was established to demonstrate that the holder has achieved an appropriate level of competence for working in aviation medicine.
In order to sit the Diploma in Aviation Medicine Examination, candidates are required to meet the entry criteria set out in our regulations.

Candidates must:
- be currently on or have completed the Faculty approved Diploma Training Course
Or
- demonstrate experience in the practice or teaching of aviation medicine.
Candidates who have completed the relevant course will be required to upload a copy of their certificate.
Candidates who are currently on the course will not need to upload additional documentation.
